October-San does not collect any personal identifying information. Ever.
This Privacy Policy describes how OCTOBER-SAN LLC ("October-San," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services").
What We Collect
When you create an account, we store only:
- Username — the collector name you choose
- Join date — when you created your account
- Authentication provider — whether you signed in with Apple or Google (stored as "apple" or "google")
- Anonymous identifier — an opaque, randomly generated token provided by Apple or Google that identifies your session without revealing your identity
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, or any other personal information.
What We Do Not Collect
- Your name or email address
- Your phone number
- Your location or GPS data (used only in real time to verify stadium presence, never stored)
- Your wallet address or private keys
- Your transaction history or financial data
- Your photos or videos (uploaded directly to IPFS, never stored by October-San)
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Browsing history or behavioral data
Blockchain & Wallets
October-San is a blockchain marketplace. NFTs you mint are recorded permanently on the Polygon blockchain — a public, decentralized ledger. Your embedded wallet is created and managed by Thirdweb, Inc., not by October-San. We never hold, control, or have access to your private keys or wallet credentials.
Blockchain transactions are public by design. Anyone can view transaction records on Polygonscan.com using a wallet address. October-San does not store wallet addresses in our database.
Location Data
The October-San app requests access to your location solely to verify that you are physically present at the stadium before minting an NFT. Your precise location is checked in real time and is never stored, transmitted to our servers, or retained in any form.
Sign In with Apple & Google
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only an anonymous, opaque identifier unique to your account within October-San. We do not receive your name, email address, or any other account information unless you explicitly choose to share it. We do not use Apple or Google sign-in data for advertising or analytics purposes.
Media You Upload
Photos and videos you capture are uploaded directly to the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), a decentralized storage network. October-San does not store copies of your media on our servers. Once minted, your media is permanently stored on IPFS and associated with your NFT on the Polygon blockchain.
Third-Party Services
October-San uses the following third-party services:
- Thirdweb — embedded wallet creation and management. See Thirdweb's Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase — stores username and join date only. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Polygon — public blockchain network for NFT transactions.
- IPFS / Thirdweb Storage — decentralized media storage.
Children's Privacy
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
Data Security
Because we collect minimal data, our exposure is minimal. Username and join date are stored in Google Firebase with industry-standard security. We do not store financial data, wallet addresses, or personal information.
Data Retention
We retain your username and join date for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
